There are seven different types of plastics on the market which are:

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE or PET) – used for plastic water and soda bottles, medicine bottles and rope.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) – used in grocery/shopping bags and refuse bags.
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) – Also used in grocery bags, cling film and plastic wrap.
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) – Cling films, sandwich bags, frozen food bags & flexible condiment containers.
Polypropylene (PP) – takeaway containers, disposable cutlery and crockery, Tupperware.
Polystyrene or Styrofoam (PS) – plastic food containers, coffee cups, packing foam and peanuts.
Miscellaneous plastics (includes: styrene, fiberglass, and nylon) – used in plastic CDs, DVDs, lighting fixtures.

As a company, we are aware of the environmental implications of plastic, which is why we endeavour to offer our customers both recycled and virgin plastic packaging materials dependent on the customer and product requirements. We also specialise in customised plastic bags that can be branded with the relevant customer logo. Branded plastic bags are great for creating brand awareness and recognition in a retail space.
