Description
The material is supplied in flat roll form or in centrefold film. Once the film has been placed over the intended item, heat is applied to the film making it shrink and mostly conform to the shape of the item. Heat may be applied by a heat gun, a suitably sized shrink tunnel or even an oven. Some of the common shrink wrap applications include packaging for beverage cans, cartons containing many different products and palletised freight goods.
