Valentines Day Packaging

Valentines Day Packaging

By on Jan 29, 2016 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

It’s February, so that means that Valentines Day is around the corner; a perfect time to prepare for some Valentines Day packaging. There are a couple of creative ways we can use packaging material to create clever gifts for our loved ones. Or there are a number of ways you can adapt your product packaging to make an impact on the customer. But before we give you some tips, here’s what Valentines Day is all about. In the 3rd century AD, a young Roman priest by the name of Valentine would facilitate marriages during the reign of Claudius II. Claudius was a pious man, but also believed that young men fought better in his armies if they remained unmarried. He outlawed marriage among his soldiers, but Valentine was one of the few priests who still married couples in secret. When found out, Claudius ordered that Valentine be put to death. Waiting in his cell, Valentine wrote his last letter to a young girl he was very fond of, and addressed the letter “from your Valentine”. Valentine’s Day is commemorated in his honour on the 14th February, replacing a popular pagan love festival. People from all over the world now celebrate this momentous day with their loved ones.   Valentines Day is also a calendar event around which brands market their products, and for this reason, has become an effective marketing tool. Here’s how your brand can market itself for maximum exposure around Valentines Day. Brands can customize packaging labels for Valentines Day. Customized labels are easily ordered from packaging suppliers before February, and can be the theme for some eye-catching design that will make your product fly. Corrugated cardboard and die-cut boxes can be printed with cool Valentines Day inspired graphics for all your products. This will encourage customers from all walks of life to pick up YOUR product. Why not purchase other packaging material like adhesive tape, protective wrapping, and paper and board materials in bright red colours to perk up the office during the Valentines Day month. Make sure that you have plenty of colourful cardboard lying around to make some interesting cards for lovers, or even friends, family and colleagues during the Valentines month. You can...

Why Packaging Is So Important For Senior Clients

Why Packaging Is So Important For Senior Clients

By on Jan 26, 2016 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Everyone speaks about the speed at which industry is changing. With regards to marketing, traditional marketing strategies are being forgotten, and new digital methods (such as this blog) are being put to use. Yes, these marketing methods help, but an important demographic is being ignored; senior citizens or clients over the age of 60. Surprisingly to some, senior clients make up almost 10% of the market. This market is extremely important, and those that ignore the segment’s habits are likely to miss out on a customer base that enjoys spending regularly on favoured brands. Packaging plays an important part for senior clients. Although packaging a product is often believed to be an old marketing trick (that the modern brand pays little attention to beyond ensuring simple packaging and design), developing a product’s packaging with a competent strategy will ensure the interest of the senior market. The senior market looks for a few simple elements in a package that will drive their purchase decision. The first is ease of access. Clever product packaging, especially for foodstuffs and drinks, that allows the customer to easily gain access but also re-seal packages are an incredibly important selling-point. Senior clients also require easy-to-understand and easy to read product information on packaging. The limited space on foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals makes this a tricky packaging factor for brands to get right, but the payoff is most certainly worth it. The loyalty from a customer base that is growing year after year (a consequence of modern medicines and medical practice) The first is ease of access. Make sure that your brand puts both...

Back To Work Office Supplies

Back To Work Office Supplies

By on Jan 22, 2016 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

It’s still the beginning of the year, and you’ve been back a couple of weeks, so maybe it’s time you take stock of all your office supplies. Make sure that you are supplied with all the office essentials to make sure that your office is working at an optimum. Here’s a small list of handy office supplies that are often overlooked but underestimated. Post-It Notes: Most offices have these, so for those that don’t they’re clearly missing out on a useful trick. Post-It Notes are adhesive backed notes that can be stuck to objects and walls, communicating quick information and tasks, and are simply stored in dispensers. New Mouse Pads: Most office employees have mouse pads, if not all employees. However, it may be worth ordering customized mouse pads with company information displayed on the surface. Some mouse pads come with wrist rests which can offer employees wrist support and reduce their chances of getting carpal tunnel syndrome. Envelopes: Make sure that your office is well stocked with envelopes of different sizes and shapes. This can help in a number of situations where packages and documents need to be sent. Many offices make the assumption that only standard sized envelopes are needed, but they’re mistaken. Desk Organizers: Many people usually store stationary in a single drawer or container. This makes the stationary cluttered, and the desk disorganized. A disorganized desk leads to terrible work, so ensure that you have desk organizers for all the staff in the office. Clipboards: We are moving into a paperless environment, but some things are easier documented on paper. For this reason its a good idea to have a few paper clipboards lying around. They provide a perfect platform on which to make notes or check lists. Corrugated Cardboard Boxes: That’s right. Offices only stock cardboard boxes in times of removal, however they have a number of uses. From neatly storing items, to organizing stock around the back office, make sure you have cardboard boxes on hand. For your supply of corrugated cardboard boxes, click here. Labels: Not many corporate offices carry plain white adhesive labels. They do, however, help organize the office, and aid in the labeling in all manner of objects from...

Toilet paper! We use it all the time. We use it every day. It is one of the most important materials made in the packaging industry because without tissue/toilet paper society would be at a hygienic disadvantage. Because the material is so important for personal hygiene, many businesses and industries require a constant supply of toilet paper. Storing Toilet Paper Toilet paper requires proper storage in order to remain hygienically clean yet accessible enough for immediate use. Many public and commercial restrooms have toilet paper dispensers that can issue a new roll of toilet paper when the old roll has been used up. The dispensers manage to also prevent the toilet paper’s exposure to dust and dirt that can otherwise make the roll unfit for use.
